Many places will check your brakes free of charge. But... if they are going to charge they should present you with paperwork to sign tong an stomata of the charges for the brake inspection and I never received that paper to sign so I ended up paying almost 80 dollars for a 20 minute brake inspection. Just be aware that you should have to sign for and charges that you will have to pay before the work is done. My mistake but also theirs in not presenting that paper work. |
Shop Comment I apologize that you were not informed of the charges for the brake inspection. AS far as the price is concerned, you did also have an oil change performed so that is a little bit of an unfair statement however, I understand therefore I would like to offer your money back to you in store credit for the brake inspection. For the record, our brake inspections are very thorough with all 4 wheels taken off, every aspect of the brakes checked to include the condition of the brake fluid. We pay extra special attention to brake systems during inspections due to the safety concerns for the driver & those around you. If you have any further questions please give me a call Richard Arnold wk# 512-894-4486 cell# 512-695-5553 |

I have always recommended L&L to others but this last trip you gave me a negative impression as a sales upgrade shop. Went in for a $500 repair and you provided a $3600 quote. I told you I have an older truck with 235k miles and you didn?t have many options. The main service needed was still $1600. I took it somewhere and was able to get your $1600 repair done for $600. Exact same repair. I guess you just didn?t want my business anymore. |
